Our work with people across Australia who just want things to feel a bit easier when it comes to using NDIS Support Coordination. The concept is relatively simple. We assist you in knowing what your plan implies, who to communicate with, and how to get things moving without stalling. Some are new to it. Others already have a plan but aren’t fully sure how to use it yet.
We don’t treat that as a problem. We just start from wherever you are. Over the last 10 years, we’ve been working alongside people living with a disability and older Australians, helping them keep things going in a way that feels normal for them.
Locating the correct providers is not necessarily fast. Right at any rate, there are a large number of possibilities, but not all of them seem right. With NDIS Support Coordination, we assist you in linking with services that actually fit into your day, as opposed to disrupting it.
That might be in the form of therapists, community activities, accommodation, or other forms of support. We also try to keep things in one place where possible, so you’re not dealing with too many different people. It just makes things easier. Less repeating yourself, less back and forth.
Other times, there could be a little gap, such as having to wait until a more permanent residence is secured or arrangements within the home. We can assist in the medium-term accommodation during that period, as things will not feel so out of place.
We arrange respite care as well when necessary. It provides families and caregivers with a little breathing room and ensures that support does not halt. These are maintained as constant as possible, to make it not seem like everything is transformed at once.
The majority of the population does not desire a system that seems to be cumbersome or disorienting. All they are doing is to want to know is who to call and what is happening. We keep it that way. One main point of contact for anything NDIS-related. No chasing around.
We also try, where we can, to keep the same support workers involved. It helps. Familiar faces make things feel easier, especially over time when routines start to settle.
